The multipurpose center hopes to provide a sustainable and safe gathering place for the community children and serve as a space for churches and development programs to meet and thrive.

This building will be an inspiring and light space, constructed of natural and durable materials, overlooking the vast Rwandan hills. It will showcase local art in the form of stained glass, painted murals and locally-crafted furnishings. It will be a building for the people, by the people.

The community at Sunzu Village was deeply saddened by the loss of their friend and generous donor Jesse Kalisher and wishes to dedicate the new multipurpose center to his memory.
