Explain the humanitarian need for this project and how this project can meet the need.

This project is located in rural Malawi serving an area of 75000 people in an otherwise area that has no easy access to good quality healthcare or education systems. CLI strives to change that and make all of that possible and ultimately looks at inspiring EVERYONE to lead a better quality of life - offering up numerous solutions.
Currently our hospital serves upto 3000 patients a week meeting the health needs of those around.
UNderstanding the environmental issues that Malawi faces as a whole is also critical in our approach - where communities are encouraged to be better stewards of the everchanging environment but are also taught to take care of the environment rather than work against it.
Overall the need for a project like this is fundamental in maintaining both health and the environment that surround these communities.

What is the mission statement of the organization you represent?

Our mission is to build sustainable communities in Africa, where hope thrives and legacies of opportunity are created, breaking the generational cycle of poverty.

Guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we provide a future of opportunity for the people of Africa by facilitating access to clean water, proper nutrition, medical care, education and training. By empowering individuals and families with the vital resources they need, they are able to make a lasting impact in their communities and change the nation as a whole.

Yes. we have place here and provide full board and accommodation.

What are the specific program desires for the project. How many buildings, stories, and floor plan square meters? Provide a detailed list of rooms desired and their specific intent.

This would be something that we could share over time based on need.
Being phase 2 and with this amount of land available - details would come on a need basis.

Provide any additional information that should be considered.

We aim to continuously be a replicable model where what is implemented here can be an example to those around us and an inspiration.
CHild legacy is a unique location as we fully function on solar power and some wind - so in designing the phase 2 that should e a consideration too that all power would be functioning on solar systems.

Explain the desired timeline from the project. When do you hope to start and finish construction? Will construction occur in phases?

3 - 5 years
