Our long-time partners Malawi Children’s Village have plans to expand their facilities that support local children in vulnerable living conditions in a small village near Mangochi. The humanitarian aim for the project is to provide village girls, typically destined to live in their subsistence village, the opportunity to have an education. This phase of our partnership involved bringing back the alumni volunteer Maggie to design a dorm building for local kids who would otherwise need to travel far to and from their homes. A new dorm building will provide welcoming and dignifying space for kids to feel a sense of comfort and belonging.
