RWANDA: TRAUMA-INFORMED YOUTH CENTER BY CHLOE MARTIN
OHODI provides a trauma-informed environment that caters to the well-being of both children and their families in Rwanda. OHODI’s ultimate goal is to broaden the scope of their projects and activities by establishing a dedicated facility that operates on trust-based relational intervention. Design volunteer Chloe partnered with our clients in Rwanda to dream up a space that would function as such and feel welcoming to anyone who enters. With such a space, OHODI aims to include mental health and family relationship concerns, ensuring a more holistic approach to supporting the vulnerable children they serve.
