ZIMBABWE: SAFE HOUSE FOR VULNERABLE WOMEN BY ANANT FELLOWSHIP STUDENTS

Home Sweet Home safe house construction is a project to be constructed as the first safe empowerment center for women and girls who are survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Zimbabwe. There is a need to build and construct a safe place that will accept women and girls who are survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and provide them with temporary shelter away from the abusers. A multidisciplinary student group from an international university fellowship in India worked closely with the local founder of the safe house to design a peaceful haven for abused women to recover from trauma.
