The later Dream Soccer Academy entry concentrates the broader Mamfe campus vision into a youth sports and training facility. Soccer provides the organizing framework, but the goal reaches beyond competition: practice creates routines, shared responsibility, mentorship, and a reason for young people to remain connected to education. The proposed architecture supports that work with functional training grounds, places to gather and learn, and the practical support spaces required for a dependable program. Journeyman International worked with the project team to connect the athletic environment to the academy’s wider educational mission rather than design a field in isolation.

This phase should be understood as a proposal; the archive does not document a completed facility. Its strength is the relationship it establishes between space and program. A well-planned sports setting can offer more than recreation when coaching, learning, care, and community presence are built into how the place is used. Here, the field becomes one part of a broader pathway toward confidence and opportunity.

The original proposal joined education, residential care, and athletic training in one setting for youth development.

  2. Project 16-60

    Sports and training refinement

The later phase concentrated the campus vision around soccer, mentoring, learning, and the support spaces required for a dependable program.
