The M2535 Clinic was planned as one part of a larger vocational village in the Dominican Republic, where clean water, agriculture, training, enterprise, and healthcare were intended to reinforce one another. Rather than isolate medical care behind a separate campus, the clinic sits within walking reach of the community center, training, and productive systems serving the site. Consultation, basic treatment, support, sanitation, and waiting areas are organized for practical everyday care and visiting professionals.
Its connection to the village’s water and infrastructure planning is especially important: a clinic can only operate safely when clean supply, waste, access, and maintenance are resolved with the broader development. Journeyman International’s work positioned the building within a social-business model intended to support long-term operations, but the archive does not verify construction. The clinic remains a proposal whose value lies in integration—healthcare treated as part of community development, not a service added after economic and educational plans are already fixed.
